FEATURING
The College Soccer Prospect ID Showcase Camp is designed for high school soccer players that want to work directly with college coaches. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming college soccer student-athletes or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature quality instruction from active college coaches, evaluations provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process, and a Discussion on College Athletics for both players and parents. Each segment of camp will consist of player evaluation and skill training on the technical and tactical competences of the game. The camp is open to all high school soccer players and is limited in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules. All campers and their parents should attend the Discussion on College Athletics.

Our goal for a player-to-coach ratio is 6:1 but will not exceed 8:1.

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE

  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches.
  • One-on-one and small group instruction.
  • An open discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations (parents are encouraged to either stay or come back for this segment. Questions are encouraged as to help answer questions and address details about the recruiting process).
  • All players will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS IMMEDIATE WHEN CAMP IS FULL, REGISTRATION CLOSES AUTOMATICALLY
ENROLLMENT MAY ALSO BE FURTHER LIMITED or EXPANDED BASED ON EACH INDIVIDUAL FACILITY

EVALUATION

Each player will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college soccer represented at the camp. Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college soccer and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating soccer player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level. Because we want full interaction between coaches and players, we do not provide written evaluations. We ask our staff to be fully engaged in the teaching and evaluating process and not be lost in a form. For this reason, we highly encourage players to ask questions of the staff and obtain any and all information they would like to know. The evaluation is designed to be informative but not restrictive.

WHY IS IT A CAMP AND A SHOWCASE?

Well, because it's the best of both worlds. Players want to showcase their skills to coaches, but they should also want to learn from them. Coaches want to evaluate players and their skills, so they can teach them appropriately, just like they do with their own players. Coaches also want to see how players react to new instruction, new techniques and how they socialize with peers and other coaches.

DISCUSSION ON COLLEGE ATHLETICS

The discussion on College Athletics will be held during camp and is for all members of the family. The seminar will last approximately a 45-60 minutes. The discussion will cover topics like: The NCAA Recruiting Rules, How to Promote Yourself, What Coaches Look For, The Best Way to Make a Video, What to Expect Playing College Athletics and How to Talk to College Coaches. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and will come out of the event having a much better idea of What College Athletics is All About. Parents and players are encouraged to ask questions during the discussion.

*This may become virtual depending on circumstances.
